Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, London, Berlin
Another project for the brand with the three stripes. This time in Herzogenaurach, the birthplace of Adidas.

It was my first job for Adidas, and I was super stoked when my former manager confirmed that I would be directing this project from start to finish. The theme of the event was to present the seven key cities of adidas: Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, London, and Berlin. My work was to not only create a visual concept, choose and organize the material, but also to tape the design on-site.

As the design was supposed to extend over a tunnel with a width of 22 metres, I needed to figure out how to create a simple but recognizable skyline concept. Due to the tight time schedule for the artistic realization, I designed everything digitally, right down to the last detail.

I only had two and a half days to finish everything. I printed out the digital sketch and used it as a template on-site, where I had a combination of black and metallic foils to create the skyline. I remember working up to the last moment and completing this job right on time as the first people arrived.”
