Much like the intricate Carl F. Bucherer watches, each canvas stood as its own, individually crafted piece of art.
In July 2023, we had the opportunity to take part in Carl F. Bucherer's major brand refresh and perform live at the release event in Munich—a notable moment for us and in the world of watches. Established in 1888, Carl F. Bucherer is known for crafting timepieces that are also genuine works of art. For this project, we created four unique canvases inspired by the brand's latest watch. We developed a single motif and then executed it in four distinct color palettes derived from the vibrant spectrum of the rainbow, tying into the design of the watch. To streamline the process, we prepped half of the tape art beforehand and completed the remaining work during the event itself. Much like the intricate Carl F. Bucherer watches, each canvas stood as its own, individually crafted piece of art. We were able to showcase our craftsmanship by creating the art in real-time, before the eyes of the guests and customers, at the stylish event venue in Munich. Taking the stage, we also seized the opportunity to introduce ourselves, breaking down the barriers that sometimes separate artists from their audience. This personal touch contributed to a relaxed and inviting atmosphere throughout the two-day event. We are grateful for the entire experience and are pleased that the canvases have been put on permanent display in Switzerland at the brand's headquarters.
