We incorporated dark blue graphic lines that contrasted with the bright colors.
This artwork was created during a live event. In collaboration with the Tape That collective, we brainstormed how to incorporate the blue pixel elements inspired by one client’s corporate identity into the design, creating a rough digital sketch that we gradually refined on-site.
Working as a duo, we began by using a variety of foil colors to create the background and then layered large pieces of foil and tape over it. To create points of visual interest, we incorporated dark blue graphic lines that contrasted with the bright colors. Guests of the event were able to watch us and watch the process as the artwork slowly emerged. In just two days, the concept came together seamlessly to form a cohesive piece of art.
