"It is crucial to protect terrestrial ecosystems and educate our children about the importance of preserving biodiversity."
When Cresk and I (Enni) were working on a collaboration for the Saigon Urban Arts Festival, the ultimate goal was to showcase our two styles in the best possible way. We wanted to merge his unique graffiti style with a realistic portrait in my style.
The vision of the festival is to spread awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through urban art. We chose the goals #4 Quality Education and #15 Life on Land to express in one collaborative artwork.
Intact ecosystems are the foundation of life on land, and their disruption can lead to the endangerment of species and environmental catastrophes. It is crucial to protect terrestrial ecosystems and educate our children about the importance of preserving biodiversity.
Our artwork features a young girl who has just learned about the fascinating world of plants from a book. She has discovered that all flowers and plants grow from seeds and contribute not only to the beauty of the world but also to the health of the ecosystem. As she gazes upward, she sees that even the tiniest flower plays a vital role on this planet, and we must do everything in our power to preserve them.
