Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's tale, the story of "The Toad".
This road trip unfolded through the collaboration of Stefan Meissner and Infra from the Tape That collective, who organized the job and the whole experience. I was accompanied by Dinopium and Fabifa. We created various artworks in the streets of Odense, both collaboratively and individually.
Throughout the week, we engaged with the community, allowing them to witness our creative process and join in conversations. During this time, I created a piece inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, the story of "The Toad". In portraying the toad's quest around the world, I explored the theme of discord between the toad and the frogs, reflecting on contemporary issues of societal division.
My gratitude extends to the Tape That collective for their role in bringing this project to life, as well as to Karen and the Danish crew. Special thanks to Backjump Odense for providing last-minute equipment. We had a blast, and I'm totally up for coming back again!
